Of the trends observed in recent bridal fashion weeks for the new season, lace wedding dresses are all the rage. Refined items made with georgette or guipure lace are combined with other fabrics such as silk crepe, organza and tulle. Sometimes, spectacular floral embroidery is added or frills, belts, lace, jackets, capes and numerous other casual details for a bride. Maison Rime Arodaky
Rime Arodaky evokes to perfection the style and look of a bride which incarnates the indefinable Parisian quality of “je ne sais quoi”. Created by Sonia Rykiel, Rime Arodaky uses icons from history with a breath of aesthetics that is natural, rock and timeless. All its models are custom designed in its Paris workshop and last year the designer opened her first showroom in Spain, in Barcelona, to exhibit her latest collection 017 Mystical Love and the iconic models of the label.

This Berlin-based wedding dress label has in recent years become a favourite of young people. Its creators, Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Johanna Kühl, use simple and elegant models, with more detailed elements and filigrees embroidered in 3D to create delicate contrasts. These dresses designed for the modern woman are produced with the care and attention given to high fashion items. Although Kaviar Gauche currently only has one store in Germany, its collections are sold on its e-commerce site. The couple recently presented its “Sans Souci” collection in Paris.

Laure de Sagazan
This one is a pretty Made in France label. Elegant, casual and Bohemian, the items produced by Laure de Sagazan have a style that is at once loose and sober – loaded with subtle details. Laure de Sagazan, a fashion design-school graduate, worked at ba&sh before launching her label in 2011. It designs custom dresses in its Paris workshop in the 10th District. Laure de Sagazan has already exhibited in New York and distributed its collections in Miami, Vancouver and San Francisco. At the beginning of the year, the designer signed a capsule collection of wedding dresses with Monoprix, dominated by white and gold as well as elements essential for the big day, such as outfits for children, ceramic stoneware plates and a cushion embroidered with cotton.

Flora is an Israeli wedding dress label, based in Haifa and founded in 2010. Created by designer Rinat Asher, its items are spectacular and luxurious, combining the classic, contemporary and nobility. The fabric for the dresses is imported mainly from Europe. Lace is used exclusively to maintain uniqueness and originality. The models combine layers of carefully worked fabric with lace and embroidery to create a vintage antique style. Since 2017, the brand has developed outside Israel, and luxury dresses are sold in premium stores worldwide.
This is one of the most prominent Spanish brands and is particularly marked out by a casual rock style. The creations of Yolanda Pérez always bear the imprint of inspiration drawn from music, film and literature that “liberates the woman” allowing her to rediscover herself. Yolancris makes clothes for all women, including wedding dresses that are ribbed, mini and sexy to be worn with thigh boots, as well as long dresses with lace and organza. Her most recent collection of wedding dresses, presented at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, is influenced by the concept of liberty evoked through experimentation, individuality and difference.
