Last Chance To Get A Place For The Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash

There’s still a chance to secure a place in the Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash 2017, which will see 12,000 runners take to the streets of Leeds on Sunday 5th November to raise funds that will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable older people.

Now in its 32nd year, the Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash is popular with fun-runners, celebrities and elite athletes alike and has been hailed one of the best races in the country.

Local star, Nick Baines, better known as Peanut from the Kaiser Chiefs, a Dash regular said: “I’m made up to be taking part again this year. Coming home to Leeds and running such a fast course amongst lots of elite runners is a great buzz.

“It’s also a great opportunity to raise money for Age UK who are helping to support vulnerable older people, who particularly need our help over the cold, winter months. Wishing everyone good luck with their training and I’ll see you at the start line in November!”
