WL Final 6: Semifinal duos established
There was no miracle for Canada or Argentina. Those teams have already finished the World League and now is the time for the biggest dose of emotions.
Yesterday Canada could not reach out their great game from the previous meeting with Russia. They lost 0:3 with Brazil and they are going home with one (but precious) victory over Russia. Argentina experienced quite poor edition of World League, as they won only one game during the intercontinental round (with United States 3:1) and none at home during Final Six.
Today we have four teams left and we are expecting a great final show. Russia will face Italy – gold and bronze medalists from the last Olympic Games in London. They have also already met in the pool B before finals. Both have collected one win (1:3 for Italy, 3:2 for Russia), so there is no way to tell today’s result.
Another duo consists of Brazil and Bulgaria – colleagues from the pool A, where Brazil triumphed twice with the same result 3:1. The competition between two strongly motivated teams will be definitely fascinatig to watch.
1. Italy – Russia: July 20th, 4:30 PM of the local time
2. Brazil – Bulgaria: July 20th, 8:00 PM of the local time
