Revival Offered Huge WWE Deals, AEW Battle Royal News, Cage News

It has become common knowledge online that Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson of The Revival have not been pleased with their run in WWE so far. Both men reportedly requested their releases from WWE a while back, but they were not granted. According to Fightful, both men have now been offered huge new WWE multi-year contracts. The deals are said to be worth $500,000 per year. The report notes that neither man has accepted WWE’s offer yet, and it appears as if they do not intend to do so. This report follows a comment that Jim Ross made on Busted Open Radio this week when he mentioned that WWE recently gave $500,000 contract offers to some of their undercard performers. The Revival are said to still have months left to go on their current WWE deals.
All Elite Wrestling has continued to announce new matches for Double or Nothing and new participants for the battle royal set for the event with each passing week. This week proved to be no different. Earlier today, the official Twitter account for All Elite Wrestling confirmed that the Best Friends have been added to the match. Chuckie T and Trent Baretta may be best friends right now, but that will obviously have to change since only one man can win a battle royal. The two of them will join MJF, Joey Janela, Sonny Kiss, Kip Sabian, Brandon Cutler, Ace Romero, Glacier, Brian Pillman Jr., and Sunny Daze in the match. Expect more names to be announced for the match within the next couple of weeks or so.

During the main event of Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion pay-per-view last night, Brian Cage was able to defeat Johnny Impact to become the new world champion of the promotion. However, his celebration was cut short due to an injury that he suffered during the match. Cage was even transferred to a nearby emergency room to have the injury further evaluated. Cage has since taken to Instagram to comment on the whole incident. Cage said that he was heartbroken to have his crowning moment end the way that it did. He thanked his fans for showing him support during this time, and he said that he will provide an update as soon as possible. Hopefully, Cage’s injury won’t be so severe and he can continue his world title reign on Impact.

Not the way I wanted to end the night or the picture/post I thought I’d be making. Very disheartening and disappointed how it went down. This is a moment I’ve dreamt about and have waited, trained, sacrificed and busted my ass for. And to say it doesn’t break my heart and sour my victory would be lying. Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes from everyone. Will see where we go from here…..
