WWE SmackDown ratings up for show from Performance Center
On a night when major pro sports went dark and large group gatherings were prohibited in most of North America, WWE SmackDown on FOX had one of its better numbers of 2020.
Last night’s episode averaged 2.588 million viewers, the second best number since November 8.
In the 18-49 demo, the show averaged a 0.7 rating, trailing only Shark Tank on network TV. It did finish first in 18-34 with a 0.5 rating.
In total audience, SmackDown was up 5.6 percent from last week. It had the same rating as last week in 18-49 and was up 25 percent in the 18-34 demo.
The show averaged 2.673 million viewers in hour one and dropped six percent in hour two to 2.503 million. The stronger than usual drop could’ve been due to the fact that a good portion of the episode was taken up by a replay of last weekend’s tag team Elimination Chamber match that saw The Miz & John Morrison retain their SmackDown Tag Team titles.
WWE has also confirmed that Monday’s Raw will take place from the Performance Center with only essential personnel in attendance.
