Being the Elite Ending? Lashley vs. Lesnar Update, Winter Return

One of the most entertaining groups in all of professional wrestling today has had some issues as of late. It has become apparent that the Bullet Club is definitely not fine, and that appears to be even more apparent as the group’s Being the Elite video series on YouTube may have just come to an end. The Bullet Club just released their 100th episode of the show earlier this week, and the episode it outright titled “Finale.” During a recent interview with Sporting News, The Young Bucks’ Matt and Nick Jackson teased ending the show at 100 episodes, but they also indicated that the show may continue if enough fans want to keep watching it. “It’s kind of undecided, but I feel like we’d be crazy not to bring it back at some point. It’s become such a popular tool for us now.” the brothers said when discussing the future of the show.

Bobby Lashley made his shocking return to WWE during the episode of Raw right after WrestleMania this year. Now that Lashley is back in WWE after being gone for over a decade, it looked like a forgone conclusion that WWE would have Lashley clash with Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at some point. However, the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter has just revealed that WWE is actually unlikely to do the match now. WWE reportedly believes that Lesnar is on his way out soon and the plan is to have him lose to two unnamed WWE Superstars before he departs the company. Lashley’s name is not currently on WWE’s list, but it is always possible that plans could change in the future.

Fans may remember a former WWE talent who competed for the company under the name Katie Lea Burchill. To Impact Wrestling fans, she is remembered for her short stint in TNA Wrestling where she competed as Winter. She managed to win the TNA Knockouts Championship and the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship before departing the promotion in 2012. She has since gone on to do some acting work while also remaining an active competitor on the independent circuit. PWInsider has just reported that the wrestler will now be returning to Impact Wrestling under the Winter moniker during their upcoming TV tapings in Windsor, Ontario, Canada in June.
