Bradley Cooper to Play Vince McMahon? News on Rusev/Orton

It was announced earlier this year a major motion picture biopic based on the rise of Vince McMahon was currently in development. The project, currently titled Pandemonium, attracted more attention when details of the script and plot were released as well. The script was originally written by Craig A. Williams (writer of Disney’s live action Underdog movie a few years ago) and was said to be heavily edited once WWE Studios decided to join the project. The directors of the pilot for the NBC series This is Us, Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, are currently rumored to be directing the project. After years of the movie floating in purgatory, it seems as though Hollywood is finally going to be moving ahead with the project.
One of the most burning questions that fans have had concerns just who will portray the WWE Chairman in the film. However, a major scoop on the film’s leading man has just been uncovered. According to a new report from PWInsider, famous actor Bradley Cooper has officially been offered the role of Vince McMahon for the upcoming biopic. Bradley Cooper appeared on an episode of Raw back in 2010 with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Sharlto Copley to promote their A-Team film. As mentioned, the screenplay gained attention for some of the racy elements that were included, and due to some facts on Vince’s life being provably incorrect. Regardless, the film is currently in early development stages with no timetable yet for a possible release.
Randy Orton and Rusev will be doing battle once again at the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. The two have traded wins back and fourth on television for a while now, and it appears that the two will be settling their differences once and for all at the event. Dave Meltzer suggested in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the match is going to have a special stipulation added on. It appears that the two will be having a Last Man Standing match at Hell in a Cell, and the two have even tested the match out during WWE’s recent tour in Japan. Hopefully, the match will last longer than a minute and finally prove who the better man is.
