— Last night on WWE’s Royal Rumble PPV, the company made it official that they are returning to Saudi Arabia for the next PPV/live event special on February 27. The show will once again be called Super ShowDown and air at noon EST from the city of Riyadh. WWE’s first event ever in Saudi Arabia took place in April 2018 and was called “Greatest Royal Rumble” and since then, the names “Crown Jewel” and “Super ShowDown” have rotated. The event next month is the fifth instalment in what is a 10-year agreement between WWE and the Saudi Sports Authority.

— WWE announced the attendance for last night’s Royal Rumble at 42,715 people. Predictably and as WWE likes to announce, it set a new record at Minute Maid Park, narrowly beating out a Taylor Swift concert.
