— M-1 CEO Monte Cox told TheFightNetwork.com that Randy Couture and Fedor Emelianenko are filming a commercial together : “Fedor and Randy are doing an endorsement deal with Affliction for a TV commercial, and that is the extent of this meeting, except, of course, for the fact that Fedor has been a longtime fan of Randy and he considers it a thrill to meet him.”
When asked about Couture vs. Fedor, Cox said, “We have always said that we are in favor of a Randy-Fedor fight. It would be great for the sport, the biggest fight in the history of mixed martial arts, and we will be a part of it when it happens.”
