WWE Execs Talk Mae Young Classic and Women’s Division Success
As noted, Vince McMahon and other WWE execs participated in a Q3 conference call today, and during the call they discussed the success of the WWE Women’s division. Below are some highlights via PWInsider.com:
The execs were asked about the presence of women on the WWE roster, and it was noted that 35% of the WWE roster is now comprised of women. The WWE execs furthered that the idea of bolstering the women’s division in the company was a vision spearheaded by Triple H, and touted the success of the Mae Young Classic, revealing viewership numbers for the tournament were on par with viewership of men’s tournament.
